Sharon Harmer lives and works on the south coast of England. She has been a freelance illustrator for over 15 years, and has illustrated many children’s books ranging from educational, pre-school and board books to picture books. Sharon especially enjoys creating characters, and her illustrations are a mixture of traditional and digital, incorporating hand drawn line, and painted textures. A background in botany and love of nature and travel also inform her work. She especially enjoys time out on her allotment, and walking and yoga. Sharon is a member of The Association of Illustrators (AOI) and The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
