Rosemarie Künzler-Behncke wrude 1926 in Dessau geboren. Mit 33 Jahren promovierte sie zum Dr. phil an der Universität Frankfurt/Main. Sei 1969 hat sie etliche Kinderbücher, Gedichte und Kurzgeschichten veröffentlicht.
Sie ist verheiratet und hat drei Kinder und lebt in München. Ihre Freizeit widmet sie der Musik, dem Theater, Singen und Malen.
