Book 3: Arthur and the Nameless City
Shortly after the arrival of the Librarian, a mysterious figure from Prague who is the leader of the Keepers, Larissa's grandfather is run down by a car and falls into a coma.
Believing this to be the work of the Shadows, Arthur and Larissa travel to Edinburgh to find the Book of Void which they plan to use as a weapon against their supernatural enemies.
Their search leads them into Edinburgh's century-old underworld, where they meet the ghoulish Knox and his assistants Burke and Hare. They are saved by the long-dead poet William McGonagall who points them to the Book of Void's hiding place.
From Edinburgh, they fly to Yemen's capital Sana'a where, with the help of Bedouins, they pick up the trail to the NamelessCity which they find hidden deep in the Empty Quarter. They are followed by the Librarian who has used them all the time to lead him here but is killed in an attempt to subdue the Shadows.
Arthur and Larissa need all their wits to finally defeat their enemies and save Larissa's parents and her grandfather.
